Elle a \u00e9galement l&#8217;avantage de r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse et d&#8217;\u00eatre b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour la structure et la fertilit\u00e9 des sols.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape du projet, nous avons \u00e9valu\u00e9 l&#8217;environnement local afin de d\u00e9terminer quelle vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de luzerne utiliser sur les exploitations pilotes. Nous nous sommes servi de ces informations pour mettre en \u0153uvre des plans de production agricole. En r\u00e9coltant la luzerne \u00e0 plusieurs p\u00e9riodes et en la traitant diff\u00e9remment, nous avons optimis\u00e9 la fermentation et la conservation de l&#8217;ensilage.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux ans apr\u00e8s la mise en \u0153uvre de cette pratique, l&#8217;autonomie prot\u00e9ique sur exploitation a augment\u00e9 de\u00a032\u00a0% et les \u00e9missions de GES ont diminu\u00e9 de 25\u00a0%. Par ailleurs, les agriculteurs ont partag\u00e9 leur exp\u00e9rience avec d&#8217;autres, devenant ainsi des ambassadeurs du projet.
