Anhand dieser Informationen haben wir mit Hilfe von Diagnoseinstrumenten (z. B. iCheck f\u00fcr Beta-Carotin und Vitamin E) ermittelt, welche Vitamine erg\u00e4nzt werden m\u00fcssen. Nach der Diagnosephase wurden jeder Kuh t\u00e4glich 2.000 mg Vitamin E und 20 mg Biotin zugef\u00fcttert. Der Vitamingehalt im Tierfutter wurde dann regelm\u00e4\u00dfig \u00fcberwacht und je nach Lebens- und Laktationsphase angepasst.<br\/> Sechs Monate nach Einf\u00fchrung des angepassten Plans zur Vitaminerg\u00e4nzung ging der Prozentsatz der Mastitisf\u00e4lle im Betrieb um durchschnittlich 30 % zur\u00fcck. Die Zahl der Lahmheitsf\u00e4lle ging deutlich zur\u00fcck: von 187 auf 74.
